Columbia West College’s Conversation Cafe
Good food and good conversation are some of the best pleasures in life. On Friday, April 24th, Columbia West College students got a taste of both. Over 30 Columbia West College students met for Conversation Cafe at KONY’s Pizza on Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown for a night of games, conversation, pizza, and laughs.
Columbia West College’s activities directors Trevor and Angela organized games that students described as “musical chairs meets speed dating”. Throughout the night, students moved around the restaurant chatting, asking questions, and getting to know each other better. And, of course, they ate a lot of pizza.
Pizza is a popular American party food. There’s something about pizza that goes well with good times. It’s delicious. It’s easy to serve and eat (you can eat it with your hands!). There are also so many choices of toppings that keep pizza exciting. King of New York (KONY’s) Pizza offers many different types of pizza. Check out their online menu to plan a night out for pizza: http://www.kingofnewyorkpizza.com/.
Pizza is also a great topic of conversation. People love sharing their favorite pizza types and favorite pizza restaurants. To learn more about the history of pizza, check out this video:
Columbia West College’s Conversation Cafe is a monthly event. Columbia West College students meet each month at a different restaurant for different types of food and fun.
